 1. Apply -VIN = -5.5V Typ [-5.5V to -10.5V] 2. Apply +VIN = +10.5V Typ [+10.5 to +12V] Verify current of ~ 135mA 3. Apply RF input signal Power-down Sequence 1. Turn off the RF input signal 2. Set +VIN to 0V 3. Set -VIN to 0V Theory of Operation The input voltage is regulated to provide VDD = +10V to the RF amplifier. A negative gate voltage is generated internally starting at VGG = -5V. Vgg becomes less negative until an IDD of 100mA is achieved. IDD is actively maintained by continuously adjusting VGG during operation.
